Role overview

We are seeking a Content Lead to lead content initiatives for ALLEN Online. This role will focus on crafting and reviewing all content initiatives and leading a team of writers to deliver high-quality deliverables across Performance Marketing, CRM, Social, UI/UX, and print content, among others.

This is a hands-on role with clear ownership—ideal for someone who enjoys building systems, sharpening narratives, and delivering measurable impact within defined timelines.

Key responsibilities

Lead & manage content delivery

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of copywriters to deliver high-quality output under a fast-paced TAT-driven environment.

  • Set clear standards for quality, tone, and turnaround across all content deliverables.

Craft & review high-impact copy

  • Write, edit, and review conversion-driven copy for ads, landing pages, emails, WhatsApp, push notifications, and social platforms.

  • Ensure consistency, clarity, and persuasion across all communication.

Storytelling & tailoring content

  • Champion authentic, human-centred storytelling that builds trust and emotional connection with students and parents.

  • Spearhead the tailoring of content for different use cases–demarcated by cohorts (for e.g. Tier 1 vs Tier 2) as well as channels (for e.g. microcopies for UI/UX vs. marcom for WhatsApp).

Stakeholder alignment

  • Act as the content SPOC for sales, product, business, and marketing stakeholders—translating business requirements into clear, effective content briefs & solutions while ensuring alignment across teams.

  • Partner closely with brand, performance, CRM, product, design, and social teams to execute integrated content initiatives.

Communication consistency & hygiene

  • Drive consistency, accuracy, and quality across all marketing and consumer communications by establishing hygiene checks, tone guidelines, and review processes across marcom and allied touchpoints.

Performance & optimisation

  • Track content performance metrics, analyse outcomes, and optimise messaging based on insights.

  • Stay updated with trends in digital marketing, education communication, and content formats.

Qualifications & skills

  • 8–10 years of experience in content strategy, copywriting, and team leadership (edtech, D2C, or consumer brands preferred).

  • Excellent command of English and Hindi (written and spoken).

  • Proven exposure to digital & print campaigns.

  • Working knowledge of performance marketing and CRM content.

  • A confident leader who can manage teams, timelines, and stakeholders effectively.

  • Strong storytelling ability with cultural sensitivity and attention to detail.

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with defined goals and deadlines.
