Making sure a company’s network runs smoothly is no easy task. Like a
captain running a ship, senior network engineers have many responsibilities that, if
neglected, will result in catastrophic failure. The following is a list of the most
important senior network engineer duties.
 Designing and implementing network infrastructure based on organizational
requirements.
 Hands-on experience on managing Fortigate firewalls, Fortinet Access points
, Fortinet Network switches.
 Able to Troubleshoot L1, L2, L3 level issues without relying on OEM or TAC
engineer support.
 Should be able to handle Studios Level Audio/Video issues.
 Good exposure on ZTNA & SASE
 Installing and configuring network hardware like routers, switches, and
firewalls.
 Monitoring network performance, ensuring system availability and reliability.
 Maintaining network hardware and software, troubleshooting issues to
minimize downtime.
 Collaborating with IT professionals to develop and implement network
security measures.
 Automating network deployment using tools etc

 Routing & Switching
 Static Routing, Dynamic Routing Protocols (EIGRP, OSPF), VLAN, DTP, VTP,
STP, RSTP,
 Ether-Channel, Port-Security, HSRP, GLBP, Cisco Routers and Switches.
 Other Basic knowledge of MFA and VMware
