Job Overview: As a Senior Manager, you will serve as the key liaison between business, product, and academic teams, executing initiatives on the pre-purchase and/or growth side. You will lead and oversee the management of the ALLEN website, freemium app, and digital course listings, with a strong focus on improving conversion, user experience, and learner growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Website & App Management: Oversee and optimize the Allen.in website and freemium app, ensuring up-to-date content, seamless user experience, and reliable performance.

  • Course Listing & Content Management: Collaborate with business, product, and academic teams to regularly update and manage course listings on the website and app.

  • Growth Operations & Partnerships: Partner and execute growth initiatives, collaborating with external partners and internal stakeholders to drive app and website promotions across multiple channels.

  • Customer Insights & Continuous Improvement: Analyze and engage with customer feedback from forums (Reddit, Play Store, App Store, etc.) to identify trends, drive improvements, and enhance user experience.

  • Pre-Purchase Experience Oversight: Serve as the point of contact for any disruptions or issues in the pre-purchase journey, including website performance, sales processes, loans, payment gateways, and finance reconciliation.

  • Program Management: Lead cross-functional efforts to enhance sales workflows, including managing Salesforce operations, driving training programs, and troubleshooting issues related to app and website functionalities.

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience of managing digital platform configs (websites, apps) and coordinating cross-functional teams (Business, Product, Marketing, Tech).

  • Experience in managing e-commerce platforms and understanding the full pre-purchase journey (e.g., sales processes, order processing, finance reconciliation,).

  • Proven ability to collaborate, execute, and optimize growth initiatives that drive app/web traffic, engagement, and user acquisition.

  • Familiarity with product management, databases, and basic SQL/ API understanding and technical troubleshooting.

  • Hands on experience setting up teams and process from scratch and scaling them up

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
