Job Overview:

 

We are seeking an experienced SEO Manager with 6 to 7 years of expertise in developing and executing effective search engine optimization strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in improving organic search rankings, driving qualified traffic, and boosting conversions across multiple platforms. You will lead the SEO efforts, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage on-page and off-page SEO tactics, as well as technical SEO initiatives, to ensure that our websites perform optimally on search engines.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

- SEO Strategy Development:  

  Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies that align with business goals, targeting both short-term and long-term growth.  

  Identify trends, insights, and algorithm changes to refine strategies and stay ahead in the competitive landscape.

 

- On-Page SEO Optimization:  

  Manage and execute all aspects of on-page optimization, including keyword research, content optimization, meta tags, URL structures, internal linking, and schema markup.  

  Collaborate with content and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into website content and architecture.

 

- Technical SEO:  

  Conduct regular site audits to identify and resolve any technical SEO issues such as site speed, crawl errors, mobile responsiveness, XML sitemaps, and indexing.  

  Work closely with developers to ensure that the technical infrastructure is optimized for search engine visibility.

 

- Off-Page SEO and Link Building:  

  Develop and manage a robust link-building strategy focused on acquiring high-quality, relevant backlinks.  

  Conduct outreach to industry influencers, bloggers, and authoritative sites for guest posts, mentions, and other SEO-friendly backlinks.

 

- Performance Tracking and Reporting:  

  Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.  

  Provide regular reports on SEO metrics such as rankings, traffic, CTR, conversion rates, and the ROI of SEO activities.

 

- SEO Trend Analysis and Competitor Research:  

  Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO and digital marketing trends, including search engine algorithm updates.  

  Conduct competitive analysis and provide recommendations to outperform competitors.

 

- Collaboration and Leadership:  

  Work closely with content creators, web developers, designers, and product teams to ensure SEO alignment with marketing strategies.  

  Lead a small team of SEO specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.

 

Key Requirements:

 

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.

- 6 to 7 years of hands-on experience in SEO with a strong understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, and ranking factors.

- Proven experience in improving organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates.

- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.

- Experience with technical SEO aspects, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make actionable recommendations.

- Communication skills, with the ability to convey complex SEO concepts to non-technical teams.

- Familiarity with industry trends and best practices in SEO, content marketing, and digital marketing.

- Experience in team management and cross-functional collaboration is a plus.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

- Experience with e-commerce or large-scale websites.

- Knowledge of international SEO and multi-language website optimization.

- Familiarity with other digital marketing channels such as SEM, PPC, and Social Media is an added advantage.

- Edtech / Agency Experience is a plus.
