Role Overview 

Allen Online is seeking a Marketing Manager who will play a pivotal role in expanding our student base. In this IC role, the individual will need to develop  persuasive value propositions, build cohesive GTM plans to drive growth, and work cross-functionally to ensure success in our marketing efforts. 

Job Responsibilities: 

 Go-to-Market Plans

  • Develop and implement 360° marketing plans to generate traffic and quality leads for a category — leveraging CRM, SEO, Social & Communities, Influencers, Performance, Radio, OOH, Print, Flyers, etc.

  • Work cross-functionally across Sales, Product, Academics and internal Marketing teams to align GTM strategies with business objectives and consumer needs.

Value Proposition Development

  • Create and articulate clear, compelling value propositions for our brand, courses and offerings.

  • Work closely with Product, Sales, and Academic teams to understand course features and benefits, and translate them into customer-centric messaging.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Drive communication & alignment with relevant stakeholders on marketing plans & timelines.

Campaign Management and Performance Tracking

  • Monitor business trends and adapt campaigns based on spikes & dips in sales.

  • Size and scope activations by estimating potential reach, engagement, and conversion at each stage of the funnel — ensuring focus on high-quality lead generation.

  • Track and analyze campaign metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations.

Market Understanding

  • Develop a strong understanding of  student needs, preferences, and behaviors.

  • Use data-driven insights to inform strategy and enhance marketing effectiveness.

  • Stay abreast of competitions’ offerings and marketing tactics.

 

What we are looking for: 

  • MBA with 6-8 years of experience in Marketing on consumer brands.

  • Hands on experience building activations across digital and offline channels.

  • Deep understanding of marketing fundamentals and ability to apply them creatively to solve business problems

  • Proven track record of building GTM plans & scaling customer bases from 1 to 10  through multi-channel marketing campaigns.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset.

  • Exceptional analytical skills - using insights to shape marketing strategies.

  • Ability to multitask effectively while being highly organised in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity without losing attention to detail.

  • Comfortable speaking in English and Hindi.
