, ,About the Role:
The Head of Creative is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the vision, direction, and execution of all creative projects at Allen. This is a unique opportunity to shape the creative direction for a brand with over 36 years of heritage, elevating it to resonate with today’s audience. We’re looking for a visionary with at least 12 years of experience in a senior creative role, preferably within a large-scale brand or agency, with a track record of driving creative excellence across teams.
Responsibilities:
1. Creative Leadership & Vision:
• Define and lead the creative vision, aligning it with Allen’s brand identity and business objectives.
• Champion innovation and push boundaries to deliver exceptional creative work that elevates the brand.
2. Team Management & Development:
• Lead and mentor a diverse team of creative professionals, including designers, copywriters, and art directors, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
• Support career development, set performance standards, and identify opportunities for team training and advancement.
3. Project Oversight & Quality Assurance:
• Oversee the end-to-end creative process across all mediums (digital, print, video, experiential), ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Conduct final reviews of creative concepts and deliverables, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards and align with project requirements.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Partner closely with departments such as brand, product development, and media to ensure cohesive campaigns and initiatives that reinforce Allen’s brand narrative.
• Translate broad business objectives into effective creative strategies that resonate with our audience.
5. Process Management & Efficiency:
• Manage resources, timelines, and budgets effectively, ensuring projects stay on track while maintaining high creative standards.
• Implement efficient workflows and processes to streamline creative production and enable a smooth operation of the creative “machinery.”
6. Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to inspire forward-thinking strategies.
• Foster a culture of creativity, experimentation, and excellence within the team, encouraging continuous improvement and learning.
7. Advocacy & Representation:
• Serve as a creative ambassador both internally and externally, representing Allen’s creative vision in discussions with stakeholders, partners, and the broader creative community.
• Communicate the value of creative excellence to the organization, advocating for the impact of high-quality, strategically aligned creative work.
