, ,Position Summary
The Regional Manager -Business DevelopmentĀ will be responsible for leading, motivating, and managing a team of Business Development Executives (BDEs). This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in sales and business development, excellent coaching skills, and the ability to drive team performance to exceed targets.
Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management:
-
Recruit, train, and onboard new Business Development Executives.

Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to the team.

Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and team meetings to review progress, address challenges, and foster a collaborative environment.

Ensures that the team objectives are consistently met with highest compliance & ethical standards.

Set clear performance goals and objectives for each team member and the team as a whole.

Monitor individual and team performance against targets, and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Strategy & Planning:
-
Develop and implement strategies to achieve and exceed business development targets.

Collaborate with senior management to refine sales processes and improve efficiency.

Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to penetrate them.

Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions and adjustments to strategies.

Sales & Business Development:
-
Support BDEs in their sales efforts, including client presentations, negotiations, and closing deals.

Act as an escalation point for complex client issues or opportunities.

Maintain a deep understanding of our products/services and the competitive landscape.

Potentially manage a small portfolio of key accounts or strategic partnerships.

Reporting & Communication:

Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, pipeline, and forecasts to senior management.

Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the CRM system by the team.

Foster effective communication within the team and with other departments.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
-
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in business development or sales, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role within the education industry.

Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Strong understanding of sales methodologies and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).

Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
-
Ability to motivate and inspire a team.
-
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Willingness to travel extensively

Knowledge of the territory geography is a plus
